It's always amazing to me how as composers get older, their need to prove themselves diminishes year by year, until all that's left is the purest essence of the music they write.

This soundtrack is a reminder to me (and hopefully you) that good music isn't about your ego. It's not about being perceived as innovative, clever, or educated. It's about honoring your artistic truth, no matter how simple its expression may be.
